Haybos is a liquid hay treatment designed to improve the palatability, digestibility, and nutritional utilisation of poor-quality hay. Applied at just 1 litre per bale, Haybos helps turn low-value forage into a more efficient and appealing fibre source for livestock.
Formulated with a powerful combination of apple cider vinegar, ocean-derived minerals, and live probiotics (Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis), Haybos works directly on the hay and within the animal to enhance fibre breakdown and feed intake.
How Haybos Works
1. Improved Fibre Breakdown
The inclusion of Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis introduces beneficial bacteria known for producing cellulase enzymes. These enzymes begin breaking down cellulose in the hay, making fibre more accessible and easier for the animal to digest. This supports better rumen function and improved feed efficiency.
