Olsson’s Calcium Mobiliser is designed specifically for use during high demand periods. Calcium is a necessary constituent of bones and teeth and is essential for regular heart and muscular activity. A lack of calcium results in poor growth and bone development in growing animals, and can result in milk fever (hypocalcaemia). This is especially true during periods of peak calcium demand, such as calving/lambing, lactating and periods of depressed immunity (sickness). Calcium Mobiliser contains vitamin D and anionic forms of calcium. When anionic forms of calcium are consumed they bond with calcium already stored in the bones, which quickly draws out and converts calcium reserves into usable calcium. This reduces the likelihood of milk fever/hypocalcaemia.
